Child Specialist and Divorce Coach for Collaborative Divorce

After years of observing damage done to children caught between parents engaged in highly hostile divorces, I trained in Collaborative Divorce, a team approach to non-litigated divorce which utilizes Collaboratively trained family law attorneys, mental health and financial experts. As Child Specialist, I advocate for the children, identifying their developmental and unique personality needs for the team. In this non-adversarial approach, team members assist clients to keep the best interests of the children forefront, reducing potential emotional costs of divorce. With clients I define and craft the Parenting Plan which may enable greater flexibility and compromise in custody arrangements than litigation provides. As Divorce Coach, clients’ emotional and psychological needs are addressed throughout the settlement process.

I am a certified member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
